News: Atomic DNA Appoints Sarah McDonough as Director

Atomic DNA, the employer brand arm of Dublin-based consultancy Atomic, has appointed Sarah McDonough to the role of director. She will be responsible for guiding the direction and vision of the business as it evolves to meet emerging client demand, working hand-in-glove with clients to develop and implement strategies in their organisations that deliver tangible results.

Sarah brings over 20 years of marketing and branding experience to Atomic DNA. In addition to running her own agency, with clients as diverse as O2, Ulster Bank and Ibec, she has held various senior marketing and communications roles at Microsoft, Trinity College Dublin, Coillte and Telefonica.

“Atomic DNA has done some amazing work in the employer brand space and I look forward to building on that, growing awareness of our services and designing tailor-made solutions that ensure our clients have a really strong employer value proposition that attracts and retains outstanding talent,” Sarah said.

Having worked with companies such as Salesforce, Bank of Ireland, EY, Abbott and Grant Thornton, Atomic DNA has showcased that an employer brand is no longer a nice-to-have that sits in HR or marketing—it’s a must-have, especially as the war for talent intensifies.

Sarah added, “I’ve worked in this area for quite a number of years and I’ve seen the impact that an employee-centric approach can have when done well, not only on the business but also on people, and I think that’s what interests me about this role.”

“I’m personally so excited that Sarah has joined us to lead the Atomic DNA team. She has huge experience in employer branding and internal communications, and putting her knowledge together with our expertise will really help fuel our growth,” said Stephen Quinn, founder and Managing Director of Atomic. “We have ambitious plans for the future and I know Sarah’s drive and energy matches ours.”
